A typical class at our dojo consists of Kihon (basic techniques – blocks, punches, kicks, and footwork), Kata (forms- pre-arranged series of techniques designed to teach specific concepts and applications), Kumite (sparring – both free sparring and sparring with specific constraints, always with the safety of the student of the utmost concern), and Fitness & Flexiblity (strength, endurance, and mobility exercises to assist in the development of overall karate skills).

TINY TIGERS
Ages 4 – 5 Years
A-Days: Monday & Wednesday – 4:00pm – 4:45pm
B-Days: Tuesday & Thursday – 4:00pm – 4:45pm
This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. They not only develop coordination, balance and agility, but they also learn positive social skills through challenging exercises and drills closely linked with good manners and teamwork. In addition, the program is designed to improve children’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes will be taught using the most safe and fun instruction methods available for their age groups.
LITTLE DRAGONS
Ages 6 – 7 Years
A-Days: Monday & Wednesday – 4:45pm – 5:30pm
B-Days: Tuesday & Thursday – 4:45pm – 5:30pm

Ages 14 Years and Over
Monday & Wednesday – 6:30pm – 7:30 pm
Adult karate is a fun and challenging exercise routine as well as a great alternative to traditional gym workouts. Our classes build strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination among many other health benefits! Students learn about the history and philosophy of the art of karate and grow to appreciate both its origins and meaning in their own lives. Regardless of whether you want to become more physically fit, increase flexibility, reduce stress, learn self-defense techniques, or looking to make friends our program is a way to do all this in a fun and safe environment.
